Publication Steps

The International Journal of Computer Science and Informatics (IJCI) is committed to maintaining high standards through peer reviewing along with established ethical policies. Any violations of professional ethical rules, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, and false authorship claims, affect the editors' decision regarding the publication of the research.

There are no restrictions on the type of research that can be published in the International Journal of Computer Science and Informatics (IJCI), as the journal adopts an expansive publication policy to provide the opportunity for all types of research to be published. Thus, the research may be of the type: literature review, improvement of an existing methodology, innovation of a new methodology, practical framework, case study, comparative study, analytical study, applied study, ...etc.

Due to the importance of time for all researchers, the International Journal of Computer Science and Informatics (IJCI) cooperates with a group of distinguished editors and peer reviewers who have sufficient experience, technical skills, and tools to accelerate the review and publication process as much as possible. This process usually takes a time period of one week to 3 weeks at most.

The International Journal of Computer Science and Informatics (IJCI) follows the following steps:

  1. The research must be sent in a word file format by one of the researchers (authors) via the journal's email [email protected]
  2. The researcher must attach to the email a copy of the **Researcher's Pledge Form** after filling it out manually and signing it so that the arbitration procedures can begin. (To get the Researcher's Pledge Form... Click Here)
  3. The editor informs the researcher of the receipt of the research. Submissions made by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted.
  4. Upon receipt of the research, the editor checks the research for compliance with the journal's template format, completeness of the research elements, that it is within the scope of the journal's specializations, and the absence of plagiarism, to make a preliminary decision of acceptance or rejection.
  5. In the event of preliminary acceptance of the paper by the editorial office, the editor informs the researcher.
  6. Then two reviewers are assigned to begin the review process according to a **Double-Blind Peer Review** system, so that the reviewers do not see the name of the researcher or the names of the researchers.
  7. Acceptance is granted when the recommendations of both reviewers are positive.
  8. If the reviewers have comments, the author must make the modifications and submit a revised version for re-evaluation.
  9. Then the publication fees are paid, in case of final acceptance for the publication of the research. After that, a research publication acceptance certificate is issued.
  10. Publication of the research in the next issue of the journal.
