التأثيرات العصبية الدوائية للبابونج (Matricaria chamomilla L.) ودوره في دعم الصحة النفسية: مراجعة للآليات الجزيئية والأدلة السريرية

يُعدّ البابونج من أقدم النباتات الطبية وأوسعها انتشاراً في الاستعمال الشعبي لتهدئة التوتر وتحسين النوم. وقد تحوّل هذا الاستعمال التقليدي خلال العقود الثلاثة الأخيرة إلى موضوع بحث عصبي دوائي منظّم. تستعرض هذه الورقة ما تراكم من معرفة حول الآليات التي يعمل بها البابونج في الجهاز العصبي المركزي، وتقابلها بما أثبتته التجارب السريرية المعشّاة. يحمل النبات مجموعتين رئيستين من المركبات الفعّالة: الفلافونويدات، وأبرزها الأبيجينين والكريسين واللوتيولين والكيرسيتين، والتربينات نصف السيسكوية، وفي مقدمتها ألفا-بيسابولول والكامازولين. يرتبط الأبيجينين تنافسياً بموقع البنزوديازيبين المركزي على مستقبل GABA‑A بثابت تثبيط يقارب 4 مايكرومول/لتر. غير أنّ الصورة أوسع من مسار واحد: تُظهر الدراسات تعديلاً لأنظمة الأمينات الأحادية، وتثبيطاً لإنزيم FAAH ضمن نظام الإندوكانابينويد، وكبحاً لمحور الوطاء–النخامى–الكظر، وتنشيطاً لمسار BDNF/ERK/CREB، وخفضاً للالتهاب العصبي والإجهاد التأكسدي. وعلى الصعيد السريري خفض مستخلص البابونج بجرعة 1500 ملغم يومياً أعراض اضطراب القلق المعمّم، بمعدل استجابة بلغ 58.1% خلال ثمانية أسابيع. وأظهرت المراجعات المنهجية تحسناً مجمّعاً في جودة النوم وفي درجة القلق الكلية، بينما بقي الأثر على قلق الحالة غير دال إحصائياً. أمّا ملف الأمان فمطمئن: أحداث عكسية عند 11.7% من المشاركين دون أي حدث خطير. تخلص المراجعة إلى أنّ البابونج عامل متعدد الأهداف واعد، تنقصه تجارب سريرية أكبر تحدّد الجرعة المثلى ومدة العلاج وموقعه بين الخيارات الدوائية القائمة. من أبرز النقاط المستخلصة من البحث أن الأبيجينين يرتبط تنافسياً بموقع البنزوديازيبين على مستقبل GABA‑A بثابت تثبيط يقارب 4 مايكرومول/لتر، لكن الأثر المضاد للقلق لا يُختزل في هذا المسار وحده. كما أن ست مسارات عصبية دوائية متمايزة توثّقت حتى الآن: الـ GABAergic، والأمينات الأحادية، والإندوكانابينويد، ومحور HPA، ومسار BDNF/CREB، والالتهاب العصبي. وتثبيط إنزيم FAAH بوساطة حمض اللينوليك مسار حديث يربط البابونج بنظام الإندوكانابينويد الداخلي. ومعدل الاستجابة في القلق المعمّم بلغ 58.1% خلال ثمانية أسابيع، وهو قريب من معدلات العلاجات الدوائية التقليدية. أيضاً التحليل التلوي يدعم تحسّن جودة النوم ودرجة القلق، ولا يدعم أثراً على قلق الحالة.
