الملخص

شاعت العمارة الرقمية في الألفية الثانية، محققة أساليب معمارية ونُهج سادت في الوقت الحاضر، والتي عكست أحدث الاتجاهات والتقنيات والفلسفات التصميمية. لذا، قد يشمل مصطلح "العمارة المعاصرة" مجموعة متنوعة من الأساليب والحركات، فقد شهد النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين العديد من النظريات والطروحات التي استكشفت إمكانيات الهندسة المعمارية كونها تمثل لغة التطور الاجتماعي والتكنولوجي. الأمر الذي أدى إلى "أزمة في العمارة" فضلاً عن المشكلات الحضرية والبيئية الناشئة من أفكار الحداثة. لذا تحدد مشكلة البحث بوجود قصور معرفي في تطبيقات النمذجة البارامترية في مشاريع الهندسة المعمارية المحلية.  

يهدف البحث إلى التعريف بالتقنيات الرقمية في التصميم المعماري في المشاريع العالمية والتي أحدثت تحولات فكرية ومهنية في العمارة التي أنتجت بدورها سلسلة من النظريات والتقنيات والأساليب الجديدة للبناء بحثاً عن "النموذج الجديد New Paradigm" لحل المشكلات المعقدة المستحدثة في التصميم والتطبيقات البارامترية في مشاريع الهندسة المعمارية.
