VSRP is committed to maintaining high standards through a rigorous peer review together with strict ethical policies. Any infringements of professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, and bogus claims of authorship, should be taken very seriously by the editors with zero tolerance.
Publication Submission
- Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors via the journal’s email to the editorial office.
- Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted.
- The submitted paper, or any translation of it, must neither be published nor be submitted for publication elsewhere. Violations of these rules will typically result in an immediate rejection of the submission without further review.
- When a new submission is received, the editor checks for the format, completeness, journal’s scope, and plagiarism to take the initial decision of acceptance/rejection.
- In the case of initial acceptance of the paper by the editorial office, it is assigned to two reviewers to start the review process.
Peer Review Process
- All papers in the journal are peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers. Acceptance is granted when both reviewers’ recommendations are positive.
- The editor-in-chief may send the paper to a third reviewer if the paper is rejected by one of the two reviewers.
- Then the editorial board decides on acceptance, rejection, or revising the manuscript.
- In case of required revision, the author is required to perform the revision, and submit a revised version for re-evaluation.
The main functions of the peer review process are to help maintain standards and ensure that the reporting of research work is as truthful and accurate as possible.
