Publication Terms and Fees

Publication Steps

The International Journal of Law Research and Studies (IJLRS) editorial process adheres to high standards through peer reviewing alongside established ethical policies. Any violations of professional ethics, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, or false authorship claims, affect the editors' decision regarding publication.

There are no restrictions on the type of research that may be published in IJLRS. The journal adopts a broad publishing policy to allow all kinds of research to be published. Research may therefore be: literature reviews, refinements of existing methodologies, new methodological innovations, practical frameworks, case studies, comparative studies, analytical studies, applied studies, etc.

Given the value of researchers' time, IJLRS works with a group of distinguished editors and peer reviewers who have sufficient expertise, technical skills, and tools to accelerate the review and publication process as much as possible. This process often takes between one week and up to three weeks at most.

IJLRS follows the steps below:

  1. The paper must be submitted as a Word file by one of the authors via the journal's email: [email protected]
  2. The author must attach a scanned copy of the signed Author Declaration Form to the email before the review process begins. (To obtain the Author Declaration form … click here)
  3. The editor will notify the author of receipt. Submissions from anyone other than an author will not be accepted.
  4. Upon receipt, the editor checks that the paper matches the journal template, that all elements are complete, that it falls within the journal's scope, and that there is no plagiarism, to make an initial decision to accept or reject.
  5. If the paper is provisionally accepted by the editorial office, the editor will inform the author.
  6. Two reviewers are assigned to start the review process under a Double-Blind Peer Review system so that reviewers do not see the author(s) name(s).
  7. Acceptance is granted when both reviewers' recommendations are positive.
  8. If reviewers provide comments, the author must make the revisions and submit a revised version for re-evaluation.
  9. Publication fees are paid once the paper is finally accepted for publication. After payment, an acceptance certificate is issued.
  10. The paper is published in the next issue of the journal.
