The Impact of DICAMS Methodology Programs on Enhancing the Performance of Digital Archiving Applications: An Applied Study at the College of Administration and Economics -Al-Mustansiriya University

Abstract

Contemporary high-performance organizations rely on modern scientific methods to move towards the new digital world with its advanced and rapid applications that require a strategic response to change and transformation in the methods and performance of digital archiving applications and their procedures. This required the creation of training curricula and programs that contribute to the best selection of advanced knowledge and its development, which came within a training strategy that contributes to the movement of change in implicit knowledge and digital dimensions (technical, administrative, strategic, behavioral and cognitive) and centered in an advanced training methodology (the DACUM methodology). Most educational institutions, and the researched institution in particular, suffer from adopting modern training curricula to prepare for the transition to digital archiving in their dealings, which was shown during the initial survey of the problem. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach in dealing with the practical aspect and focusing on a questionnaire form prepared for this purpose that included the two variables and a number of paragraphs amounting to (30) paragraphs distributed over a sample amounting to (80) university service employees. Using a five-point Likert scale to deal with non-parametric data and analyze it according to descriptive methods (measures of central tendency) and statistical methods (correlation coefficient - Z-test and coefficient of determination -F-test). The researcher reached some conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which is ((the existence of a correlation and influence relationship for applying the DACUM methodology in enhancing the performance of applications directed towards digital archiving)).
